Thanks for the suggestion! Unfortunately it didnt work still. It did automatically put the receiver into Tv mode for the audio, but still no sound. Pretty certain I'd tried this before but was hopeful that I'd not. Baffling.

Hi all - not sure if this is an Apple TV question or not, but I believe it is. I've streamed Netflix on two Panasonic viera plasmas in our home for months with no issues. Recently added an Apple TV and Netflix works fine through that...but now it no longer seems to work through either of the TVs. Can't figure out why. Just that they said they'd be able to do something, and from a customer service perspective I hope they will. And it's been like 41 days. Honestly I don't feel I should have to send a brand new piece of electronics in for repair and be without it for weeks/months.But that's why I asked up top what people's experience has been dealing directly with Denon. If its not too bad I'll try it. Otherwise I'll go through Amex and get a refund and buy a product that works.
Anyone had any dealings with Denon directly? I'm getting a bit of a run around from Paul's TV... It's past the 30 day return window even though I only opened it on Saturday and their installation guys were here on Sunday setting up the TV they also sold me so they knew I just opened my defective AVR-2113ci.

Makes total sense. I was just asking because it seems he has settings for the ST series if you don't do the prep, so I was wondering if i was missing a similar set for the VT. Or if conversely there was another set for the VT that people seemed to like. That's all.Not trying to rock the boat, honest. :-)
The settings say very specifically they're only for if you've done that prep stuff...I'm trying to play by the rules. :-). And I'm all for tweaking, but people here are way smarter than I am and I like listening to experts when I can. ;-)
Hi all - I've got my 2113 unit to accept the firmware update..but it froze again and once I manually powered it off I've not been able to power it back on since last night. I've left it unplugged for several intervals, including overnight. Nothing. Can't get it to come back. Help!
