I've got the JVC RS2
I borrowed an 60D and a tripod with 18-135 These two here are though with the 75-300 kit lens @ 300mm, the lens is so bad it could't focus by itself so this is manual focus The time here is no 12:32 am and I have to work tomorrow, I just got home and snapped these photos I can take more better ones if you want, but it would be nice then if you would describe how I should take them
Wow, that is bad I have nothing remotely close to that, if that is what you call hotspotting, I can tell you I have no such thing. I'll try to take better photos of the screen, might not be able to do it until tomorrow evening though Here are though some photos that I took with the 400d earlier, the camera was just set to P. Like you said, it is probably best having it set to M and take all the photos with same settings This is directly at the screen, I can see on the...
Like I said earlier and showed a picture, since the screen almost fills up the entire wall, the only seating position available are straight to the screen. I expected though to see a huge drop in brightness and hotspots when I would walk pass the screen (through the door), but it really surprised me, when standing right next to the screen, the image look sreally good, and while walking pass the screen I don't notice the drop in brightness (I'm sure it does, but I guess it...
I took this outside just now, to get enough light, it's cloudy outside I set the white balance to cloudy (6000K in the 400d), set it to Manual, 1/125 (I could not do it slower because then the picture was shaking) and 1/5.6. The pictures are taken from 1.5m with me just holding the camera standing right above. This kit 75-300mm lens can't focus to anything closer than 1.5m So I guess I can't take that shot of white/black @ 300mm from 50cm distance, the closest the lens...
I did the white paper coin with the 400d and used the LED on my phone as light source, both are from samples (I got the 08-85 and 23-23 samples before I bought the screen) I even found a USA coin The white paper is on the left side, and the dnp materials on the right Here is the 08-85 And here is the 23-23 I used the 18-55 kit lens and used the P mode (and the LED on my phone as light source) I'll try to find some tripod or something to take that photo of the white...
I borrowed a Canon 400d and 75-300mm This photo is taken about 3.5m from the screen and at 300m, 1/20s, ISO 400 and f/5.6 I didn't have a tripod so it was pretty difficult to take pictures, also it was hard getting the focus, and well, even though it is a dslr it is a pretty ****** camera and well, I guess I'm also a ****** photographer, but I guess it takes some skill to take impressive photos of this, which I don't have ps I forgot to mention, the projector is JVC RS2...
The screen almost fills up the wall that it is on, apart from the door wich is in that corner, here is a crappy photo of how it is https://www.dropbox.com/s/62ze7m0z25spn06/2013-02-18%2000.18.13.jpg So I can't look at it at much angle with out going really close to it. But I must say, I really thought I would see more drop in brightness when looking at it at an angle. While walking out of the room, from being perpendicular to the screen to being beside it, I see really...
I bought a 110" 16:9 23-23 DNP Supernova last month and it makes a huge difference. I guess I have the worst space for projector screen, white walls and ceiling, and the ceiling is really low, so the screen is really close both to one of the walls and the ceiling. Going from a cheap 1.0 matte white screen to this is incredible (well, it should because this dnp screen was around 20x more expensive than the cheap one I had, which was, well the cheapest screen I found) I've...
I'm going to keep my JVC RS-2 for the time being and placed an order for a 110" DNP Supernova 23-23 Core I screen. I takes about 10 days to make it and I should get it the 14th of February
