You can find them and all of the Cambridge audio S series speakers on Av Hi Fi, it uses Amazon as a payment method so you can probably use the $50 gift card therehttp://www.avhifi.com/shop/cambridge-audio-s-series-speakers.html
I would reccomend the Cambridge Audio s30 bookshelf speakers, they sound amazing and are around $220, and the matching center is great too (s50). http://www.avhifi.com/shop/cambridge-audio-s30-speakers.html http://www.avhifi.com/shop/cambridge-audio-s50-center-speakers.html
I was hoping it would have different levels for my monitor/speakers and another for my avr and xbox, and a pull out keyboard tray so i have more open desk space.
I am re organizing my bedroom into a mini home theater with a 7.1 set up and my pc, but what i need to find is a good desk i can put at the far end of my rectangular room to set up my monitor and LCR speakers. most of the desks i have found are not really set up very well for the left, center and right speakers and dont have enough desk space. the studio RTA creation station looks nice but i have not seen anything else. Any suggestions?...
Do you think i should get some stands for the s30's or would they be okay sitting on a desk?
I think you definitely have a point, i have heard some great things about Hsu and although the STF-2 is a bit more pricey i think it will be worth the money. I think i will also get a denon 1712 as an AVR for the whole system as it seems to have very good reviews.
My room is 11ft X 8ft X 9ft, i mostly want to make sure that the sub blends well with my cambridge audio 30 bookshelf speakers and is under $300. I would compromise on extreme low end for a better, more tight sub. Oh and about half of the room has a slanted ceiling with a skylight.
The rw-12 does look very nice, but it is rather big. Does anyone know anything about the klipsch sw 308? it has some good reviews but nothing on blogs and it is a much better size for me, i would rather not get a large 12 inch sub

I have recently decided to upgrade my current bedroom 5.1 system and am very new to audio, i decided on Cambridge audio s30's for the front and rears and a s50 for the center channel. What i cannot decide on is the subwoofer, my room is very small so I don't need anything huge but what i am looking for is a very musical and tight sub. I also want it to blend well with the speakers and to be under $300. So far I have my eye a few subs: Klipsch SW 308: Looks really nice and...
