I built a sliding projector mount because my zoom does not get me from 16:9 to 4:3 at constant height.

I used light blocking cellular shades from Lowes.

I had room in the wall over the stairs, so I built-in the equipment rack. Also made it easy ro run cables.

I used L brackets painted white to mount the screen.

My HT was a retrofit of our library (which is not finished itself as you can see). 1916 house we have been working on for about 5 years.
