Pros: feature packed,looks nice, monster power

Cons: problems with switching between HDMI inputs

This receiver is my 4th Onkyo and this is the first time I had problems with the input switching, when I first turn it on it takes about 5 minutes before anything show on the screen, when I switch to Xbox 360,PS3 it takes even longer and a couple of times 30 to 40 minutes before a signacan be seen, this drove me crazy so I call Onkyo ( which told me I have to send it in for repair) and ask for help with my 2 year old receiver and they said its out of warranty so the suggested a few repair shops. the price for the repair I was told from $150 and up plus 2 to 4 weeks for repair. so I decided to buy the Denon AV2312CI, didnt hook it up yet, but I'm finished with Onkyo.I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER ONE. buyer beware! they used to be good.mad.gif

I've owned an Onkyo 806 model for sometime and have not experienced any of the issues mentioned here. Flawless performance from the unit and only changed to another Onkyo (515) to get iPod docking and streaming capabilities. My 806 is still functioning as if it was new. One issue I do agree with though: getting ANY audio components repaired now is next to impossible. You are practically forced to junk it and buy a replacement item.
