Great Blu-ray Player.
Pros: Excellent content, easy to use menus, access to home network
Cons: No browser for full internet, cannot stream from laptop or desktop to device
I have to say, I love my Sony Blue Ray player. It has provided hours of entertainment for my kids with streaming Netflix and Amazon Prime. Now, initially I had a lot of trouble streaming Amazon, and spent hours on the phone with Amazon support for streaming video. They went above and beyond in their attempts to solve the issue of streaming. I bought the player at Best Buy, and eventually took it back, complaining that it wouldn't stream Amazon. They hooked it up at the counter and it connected without an issue. I took it home, and connected it directly, bypassing router. It worked, so I replaced my Netgear piece of junk with an Asus RT-N65U and it worked perfectly! After that was resolved I have had zero issues. It streams great and I have no buffering with RR Turbo. Love that there are so many programs built in for content. Anything I want to join.
PROS: Content...all that I could need...almost. Netflix, Amazon, Pandora, Hulu and so much more.
Easy to use...yup, once the streaming issue was resolved.
Works with my Harmony One remote.
CONS: Remote entering letters on the search menu sucks
Bottom line: I would recommend it to anyone and will buy another when it dies.
