best picture i have ever laid my eyes on

i love this set, i was wondering if anyone had any ideas on what settings should be changed for best viewing of sports- golf/football. i am a novice but the picture sure looks better than my lg plasma it replaced!!! and i looks like an iphone hanging from the wall with the edge to edge glass and smal black border.
