I have Panasonic PY8, I would like to make some adjustments in service menu... It will sounds funny but I already did few changes in cinema mode, simple using my eyes and using some test images and movies (burosch and others), problem is that I don't know exactly what I did
Anyway picture is now only little less "washed out" like some people speaks about cinema mode and also ok now is red colour which was too bright (has not many tones)
can someone explain me what are:R/G/B/all drv
(I know RGB colours, but what is drv/cut, what give higher/lower value there ?)sub brt
wb method (0/1/2/3)
color, contrast - its also in service menu, but I don't understand why, is it something else than this in normal picture menu ?
about contrast - its normal that when I am entering to service menu, it itself is auto setting up to highest contrast value ??
what I like in cinema mode is that colour has most tones and there is deepest black (and msot grey tones), overall dark scenes looks perfect but what I like less than in normal / eco mode is that bright parts (white, yellow etc, for example - subtitles) are for me too bright compared to bright parts in those two modes
I am using "normal" white balance, this isn't almost a problem in "warm" balance but imho colour tones are worse
do you have any suggestions what can I try do to make this brightness little lower but without changing to worse black level ?
many questions but thanks in advance for any help, and sorry for my poor english
