Hi all, new here. Just found this while looking for info on my Panny (tc-p50gt30). Been working fine since I got it, but then it turned in and gave a light pop one night and then the 7 blinks.
Found this thread, did the standard troubleshooting on the line with Panasonic, referencing this apparently common issue, and they basically shuttled me off to an authorized repair shop locally because they wouldn't have anything more to do with me as it's out of warranty for some time.
So I had the guy come out and verify that it's the TXNSC1NWUU SC Board, and that the SU and SD boards appear to be fine.
Now... the problem I have is.. no one has it! I cannot find this board in stock anywhere. Even panasonic themselves has ~3 week minimum period to wait once you order, and has apparently been telling people that for awhile... that and they are ~$50 more than shopjimmy. Even ebay comes up with nothing for this part.
So, does anyone know where to get this thing? Or is it a lost cause and I should just try and sell it for parts and get a new one? I love the TV, but with Panasonic existing the Plasma market, I know that its days are sadly numbered. I wouldn't mind getting one of the newer models, but I don't want to spend money for no reason.
And if there is a part on the board that goes bad really easy, I'd be down for replacing that as well. I looked it over and didn't see any obvious damage. No burnt/lifted traces, no leaking/blown caps, no obvious burn areas, etc.
