I have the Germs first album, but I just picked up this hunny! The saddest day to Music and New Wave Music was the week of the December 7th, 1980, when Darby Crash died! Even compared to the other guy who died the next day

Here is another great band from the UK, X-Ray Specs! This is a CD that was compiled from two albums in the 70's. The first album is called Ruff Trade Demo's and the other that came out in 78 is called OGWT (by Peel Sessions.) The compilation is called Spermfree Geriatrics. And, of course, it has there Greatest songs, "Oh Bondage Up Yours" and "Genetic Engineering"

such hyperbolic waxing for something I had never even heard of sent me straight to allmusic for a look-see.

ooh, ok. Now we're back in familiar territory, aka Aphex Twin. I'll put it on my long "get around to it eventually" list.

yeah. harry left us 7/16/81, almost 28 years ago.

i have been recently finding myself getting pissed off (and cussing) at those musical artists who, usually 'cuz of their substance abuse or unhealthy lifestyles or for whatever reason, end up passing way before their time thereby denying us of their gifts.

thoughts like 'who do you think you are/were to up and die on us/me and deprive us/me of more of your music', things like that.

harry
janice
jim
hendrix
george h
lennon
dan fogelberg
et al...

RIP all. and THANKS FOR WHAT YOU DID GIVE US!
