Just retrieved it from storage at my mother's house. Hadn't listened to this LP in over 20 years. WOW - this still sounds great, and so inventive.

That, and Squire's "Fish Out of Water", are definitely the two best Yes solo projects.

My current favorite for this time of year is Van Morrison's Back on Top. Lot of great Fall tunes on this disc.

I bought a new 20-bit mastered expanded edition cd a few years back. A couple of previously unreleased bonus tracks.

About 8 bucks. They also have a 2009 vinyl if interested, but of course
without the previously released bonus tracks.

Will buy another one with more careful screening this time:

I finally found a an unopened copy of this album. Given that it's never been released in digital format and wanting to preserve the virgin sound, I recorded the first play directly to digital. This is the first time I've tried any kind of album to digital recording. I went straight from the turntable low-level outputs into Sony PCM-D50 (portable digital recorder) recorded at 24 bit and then downsampled to 16 bit for the CD. I'm pretty amazed at the sound on CD, very close to analog.

Jamming to some Mott the Hoople in the Workshop today while about 10 guys put a new roof on my house. And it's my Birthday!
