Anthony Phillips - The Geese & The Ghost

Genesis' first guitarists' outing w/ some members contributing to this pastoral effort. With two long suites this should especially appeal to fans of early Genesis or those who may want to listen to delicate medieval/ prog music.

The album has been criticized for the voice overs and not being hard driving Texas Blues, but I think those critics miss sheer enjoyment the brothers had playing together. Everyone thinks Stevie is the better player, but he always held his older brother's playing in high esteem. I've read that he said that "Jimmy only plays at 1%, he can play anything".

I listen to it a lot.
