Deadmau5->Album Title Goes Here<<br /> Animal Collective-Centipede Hz
Passion Pit-Gossamer
Cat Power-Sun
The xx-Coexist
Grizzly Bear-Shields
The Antlers-Undersea
Bloc Party-Four
I'll have to think about a top five.

Some of those I heard...and were good; just not saved for one reason or another. I try every new OM release; nothing ever tops Cherry Peel for me, lol. I listened to Bloom; can't remember being impressed, but it's worth another listen. Heaven I remembered liking very much; not sure why it didn't get saved (it will now...re-visit!). The Crystal Castles thing didn't wow me; I also thought ACs latest was just OK. Sun is fine, but I'm a Chan fan from way back. And I think I'm the only one in the WORLD, who isn't ga-ga about Shields; guess I gotta take another listen to that!

My favorite OM album is still The Sunlandic Twins. I really like Paralytic Stalks but it definitely turns into a complete "clockwork orange" freak-out for the last few tracks. I agree, the latest AC release is just so-so. I'd give it a solid 3 out of 5 stars though.

Ok, so my top five rock records...(really, I need a top five for each genre, smile.gif).

5 Santigold-Master of My Make-Believe
4 Of Montreal-Paralytic Stalks
3 The Walkmen-Heaven
2 Crystal Castles-III
1 Sigur Ros-Valtari

This new Santigold release better than her debut? I was pretty darn impressed with that one at the time (though I haven't felt the desire to revisit it since then, for whatever reason).

That's a tough call. I'd say the new album is at least as good as the debut.

Yep, have replayed mine a few times and will be pissed if it "disappears" from my dvr as some movies have done in the past mad.gif. The Buddy Guy tributes were awesome as well. Have always been a fan of recordings of artist tributes to other artists.

Man, I've been listening to so much new, hip-ster, cutting-edge, best-of 2012 stuff lately; I just needed a break, and to kick it old-school. Really old-school. As the title cannot conceal, I don't believe this album is 35 years old! Truth be told...it still sounds pretty fresh.
