Mississippi John Hurt -- Today!

Easy going country blues at its finest. Didn't know him of course, but from his music and his soft, gentle voice and finger picking guitar playing he seems like he was a sweet old man. I'll bet he could tell a great story or two.

P.O.S.-We Don't Even Live Here

His newest release. I'm really enjoying it so far. I can't help but wonder if the use of auto-tune on one of the tracks is just a cynical stab at mainstream hip-hop.

Ugh; no offense...but that's about what this title is good for. Background music, while you're drinking some fine Brown. A real disappointment, IMO...especially coming off of Think Of One (you know...unless you hate real Jazz)

I have Cafe Blue as well. ..The good news is that it's so well recorded that it sounds like she's right in the room. The bad news is her vocal style is so irritating that I'm inclined to ask her to immediately leave smile.gif

..To each their own of course. ..Maybe I'll give it another listen tonight to see if it grows on me.
