Best On-screen Menu?

I know this may not be important to some, but if I'm going to spend over $1,000 on a new receiver I want to make sure I get one with a good configuration interface. So far I've seen that the Sony's in the $1200 range have a nice on-screen menu. The Yamaha's appear to be very basic. What other brand names in that price range have the most modern and feature-rich on-screen menu's?

Thanks very much

While a nice on-screen menu would be a perk on any higher-end receiver, does it really matter all that much after everything has been set up? I've heard good things about the new Sony and Denon GUI's, but I would personally look at a lot of other things before buying a receiver based on it. YMMV....

I have no idea which you would consider to be the best on screen display interface but I would HIGHLY urge you not to place to much emphasis on it. On a day to day basis of usage it isn't going to mean anything.

While some do make it easier to configure the system and some are more user friendly than others after you set it up it doesn't mean much, their are far more important things to look at.
