Go velodyne!! Although i would not by either. I think i would go with a ten inch klipsch rwd for 499.00. Always known for quality and always will be , we hope.

I have listened to the Klipsch rwd - real bottom feeder at 28hz. And it weighs 39 lbs... impressive indeed. I have listened to the Velo as well. Have you heard the 8400... thats what I thought.
