Yes, I the Cool n' Quiet feature is off. I'm using the 4850e CPU. I went back through the TV setup in WMC and it is somewhat normal now, but still not smooth. The results are identical using component or HDMI. I reconfigure WMC each time I switch between component and HDMI. So, I'm thinking the CPU is not fast enough (2000MHz system bus, no L3 cache). The TV video is almost there.
Waiting for the price of Phenom II's to come down. In the mean time, I'm trying to find a Athlon II X2 240e CPU. This will give my a 4000MHz system bus and some L3 cache while keeping the CPU at 45W TDP.
I have a very basic system. Software wise I have, Windows 7 Home 32 bit, PowerDVD8 Ultra, WHS connector with MyMovies 3 plugin, Slysoft Virtual CloneDrive. No codecs are installed other than those with the aforementioned software.
