Blue/white random dots were corrected after i set the sideport memory to 400mhz or something like that.
Only thing i have to figure out is how to adjust my subwoofer level since it's a bit quiet and it's not punchy enough, but i'm sure i'll get to it.
Thanks a lot for everyone who helped, especially Java Jack. I'll be building more HTPCs for my family members and relatives and i'm going to definetely use this board.
Java Jack, which utility would you recommend to monitor GPU temperatures? I don't think you answered my question about this earlier...
Glad you have everything working and happy with it.
There are D2 tools, however, D2 is still needs to figure out what they are going to release and the supporting business model.
For the sub, see the post I put up earlier in this thread that goes through the audio set up. You will see a pic that shows how to set each channel output independently (including sub).
As for GPU temps, honestly I have not looked at 3rd party utilities for that. All the stuff I have done to date is with thermal imaging equipment in a lab environment.
Others may know of some good s/w solutions for that, I just have not looked around for anything.
