advice on speakers

hey all. this is my first thread. I would like to welcome any opinions on choosing between these 2 speakers. they are both somewhat vintage. and they will be the same price of $125.00 the first speakers are Sansui sp 2500 and the other set is DCM time windows. please help with advice, what should i buy????????? or should i recone my boston acoustics (thanks to my 2 year old ripping it up)

go to the " whatever happened to DCM's Steve Eberbach" thread in this same "speakers" section. That might help you decide on the DCM's.

I have a set of Sansui SP7500x speakers and truly love them. They are almost as "vintage" as I am..... I had to replace the tweeters with replacements from Parts Express and since I changed one, I changed all 4, two in each enclosure. The actual speakers in the Sansui's are going on 30+ years old and you need to look closely at the cones and surrounds attaching them to the speaker frames. Deterioration is very common after so many years in use.

I can't comment on the DCM's - so I can only recommend you listen to both and pick based on what you like
