I'm facing the death of my Epson Home Cinema 550... convergence problem, need LCD aligment and found a buyer that don't mind seeing some redish tone on right side.
I previously had a Benq 6100, a Optoma HD70 and the Epson 550... and now don't know which one to pick... Lumens aren't my top priority but have to be at least 1300. I love sharpness (PC is my source) and black as real as possible. I'm in search of a good value for money, 1000$ would be nice but if 1400$ means this is a keeper for a while...
My choice are:
- Obviously a Panasonic PT-AX200u brand new at 1400$ tx-in
- Optoma HD65 at 1100$ tx-in. Can't find a decent review! At 1600 lumens this should be a steal!
- Optoma HD72 on ebay (should go for 1000-1100$) 1300 Lumens, known to be sharp.
- Epson Home Cinema 720 at 1400$, 1600 lumens, high contrast 10000:1
I've read a lots of review... maybye too much in fact. That's why I'm asking you guys... My head is too full and can't search everywhere on the net for a bit of info... Thanks

). I have received a couple of units myself, but overall I think it is a great price-performance buy (rebate, free-bulb, my performance expectation - all this can't be beat!). I think the problems arise due to lack of proper quality control, assembling, tuning things to spec, etc.
