I currently have an Apple TV that is hacked to play the Divx, Xvid, etc. That is fine for SD and music but I want to play .mkv HD files on my big screen. What is the most solid player that will handle .mkv HD files with the fewest bugs/issues?
I have read countless reviews (Thanks Hi-Jack on mpcclub.com!) and from what I have read the Tvix 6500A seems like a solid choice. I have read the thread with the issues of overheating which was a major concearn. Just hate to drop $400+ on one of these digital media servers that has problems.
