Help my layout my basement HT room

Well i have attached a .pdf file of the rough layout of my basement... not the best situation for doing a decent HT room, but it is what i have to work with. As for right now, i am thinking that the only wall to put the HT equipment would be on the wall next to the stairs. I will have a wall there that is about 7 feet wide to put the equipment. I am thinking of using wall mounted speakers on either side of the TV, center channel above the TV and the 5.1 rear speakers towards the corner. Sub could go either on one of the side walls or the front wall. i will run RG6 to both sides, rear and front just in case.

What are your guys opinion on how i could set this up better? Couch would run against the long wall and possibly on the wall that borders the bathroom.

oh i wish i could.. that would save so much aggravation... but no. that rectangle is the furnance and the small rectangle and circles are the water softener and hot water heater...

Thanks Mark. I don't think i will be doing a projection system as i do not plan to stay here that long. I suppose i could put the tv and stuff along that wall with the window and just have dark enough blinds to block it out. I dont think i will be able to use that closet for a rack system as the wife would freak out that i am taking away storage...

Also, with a sofa in the middle of the room i am afraid it might block the walkway to the bathroom.

here are some more pictures of what the room actually looks like (in the stud stage) - all electrical shown is the original "wiring" that the "contractor" that owned the house before me did. Notice it was "finished" before but i tore everything down and started over to do it the right way
