Hello I have a Sony VLP-HS10 and looking for advice. Is it worth an extra $150 to go to the Mitsubishi HC1500. Please give me your advice.
Thanks

I think if you can upgrade for $150 and get a new bulb with it then it is definitely worth it.

They both have about the same hours on the bulb. Is the picture quality better?

I have the HS10(LCD) and HD1000(DLP) (practically the same as HC1500). There is no comparison between these two in picture quality(HC1500). After 600 hours with the HS10 it developed a blue polarizer problem. After 1000 hours with the HS10 the prizm block went bad ( $2400.00 to fix by Sony). Have logged 700 hours on the HD1000 no problems so far. HS10 5 year old technology, Hc1500 less than one year old. Bottom line, go with the Hc1500 unless you are senitive to RBE (rainbows). Hopes this helps.

Ron
