Why settle for mediocre sound when you have such a beautiful picture?
1 COMCAST DVR Box (HDMI)
1 HDR-312 Series-1 TiVo (S-VIDEO) - still works great, I have lifetime service, why not still use it?
1 Panasonic DVD Recorder (component output) - when I bought it 2 years ago the HDMI version was just shipping and there were a lot of posts about HDCP problems.
1 PS-2 (component output)
1 GameCube (composite output)
I have a VCR but I use it so rarely I watch it through the DVD Recorder.
I suppose I can look to see if I can get an HDMI output cable for PS-2, maybe cheaper than the switch 8-}
I have a 2-channel Onkyo receiver and NHT Sat/Sub system. I should convert to 5.1 sound sometime, but having just bought a new TV (;-}) I don't have an extra grand for new receiver and speakers. And anyway, for causal use we don't use the receiver, right now we let the TV (a 7-input Sony CRT 4:3 HDTV circa 2002) do the switching.
