I've been looking at 5-in-3 and 4-in-3 rack solutions offered by Supermicro.. I found a comparable model in a Kingwin, and the price is significantly less .. ~$70 vs ~$120 for SuperMicro.
I think the main difference is Supermicro has temp monitoring and overheat/crash alarms - do you guys find this to be a feature worth having for network storage?
I am planning a build of a RAID5 w/ 6 SATA drives, I figure a couple of these would be handy!
