Anyway. How would you compare the Planer to the Pioneer? I am very familiar with the Pionner plasmas and it would be a good point of reference for me. Is it the Kuro Pio? Also, how would you compare the blacks, colors, etc. And, the most important thing, which one gives you that looking out a window 3D effect better, the Pio or Planer.
A lot of work moving the speakers. They are wall mounted, as you can see, and hidden wires.
I'm satisfied with the size, and, again, the 2.35:1 aspect really makes a difference.
Blacks, better on Kuro.
Colors, better on Kuro.
Looking out the window, better on Kuro.
Am I satisfied with the Planar, YES.
Does it produce an amazing picture, YES it does!
Projectors, as far as I've read and seen, can't beat the Kuro, it's an amazing TV.
But, I am Legend in 1080p Blu-ray, 2.35:1 on the Planar 8150 looks very, very good
