Good Deal on a Sub?

Sorry about another what sub should I get thread. Have a finished basement area that is 15'W x 20'L x 7' H. I have a PSB image series with T55/S50/B15. I am looking for a sub and can get a PSB Subseries 5i for under $400 shipped. I was wondering if there is something else that would be a better fit for me at that price range? Thanks

If you can get a 5i for $400 shipped do it - assuming $400 is all you have for your budget. IMO, if you can scrap together another $150 for a 6i, I'd go that route. The 5i is great for the price, but the 6i moves you up to near major leagues.

Thanks SimpleTheater; where are you in NY? I am in Rochester and I can't find a good place to demo the PSB subs. Any help in the upstate area would be appreciated.
