How-to update firmware on STR-DA5300ES

I've looked through the threads for this reciever and found all kinds of posts from people saying they updated the firmware and it resolved various issues.


How would I go about updating it? (that is my question)

Do I need to send it in?

I noticed other avr's have a ethernet interface which i assume is used for this.


I wont hold anyone responsible for their "advice" =D

What i tweak/modify is my problem if it break it.
