Option #1: new L/R front
1a Bose used for Center + LR/RRear (5.1)
1b Bose used for Center + LR/RR/CRear (6.1)
1c Bose used for Center + LR/RRear + LB/RBack (7.1)
1d Bose used for Center + LR/RRear + LP/RPresence (5.1 + 2x Presence)
Option #2: new L/R/C front
2a Bose used for LR/RRear (5.1)
2b Bose used for LR/RR/CRear (6.1)
2c Bose used for LR/RRear + LB/RBack (7.1)
2d Bose used for LR/RRear + LP/RPresence (5.1 + 2x Presence)
2e Bose used for LR/RR/CRear + LP/RPresence (6.1 + 2x Presence)
The choices for new L/R/[/C] speakers will affect your LARGE/SMALL settings for L/R and Center speakers, and also affect your crossover settings.
Option #2 variants provide the better front soundstage match, and can more easly include a 2nd powered sub.
Variant 2e depends on the Bose Center performing adequately as a Center Rear.
Unfortunately, there are no guarantees about how this will sound. Make sure you can return any purchases after a home test!
