Use Microsoft XP, not Vista! - Page 3

Wow, thought it would be more cut and dry for gamers especially. Windows XP has gotten 15% quicker framerates than Vista for games. Look at all the top PCmark and 3dmark benchmarks, all on XP. The pros do know.

Personally I don't want to switch to a tool that looks fancier, but is less stable, and slower, and less supported for more money. People say vista feels faster even though xp is due mostly to the search bar. Well google fixed that with their awesome utility google search bar. I run a minimalist computer to keep it unbloated, but goolge desktop searchbar is so awesome. I moved all my icons off my desktop on to my start menu and can just hit CNTL twice, type in 3 letters and open various programs up.

What I am trying to say is that XP has more games than Vista if you are a gamer.

Vista is still full of bugs which is why most companies in the IT world
are still running on XP. I have used both and prefer XP. Vista has some
nice features and if people like it, they can and should run it. For now, I'll stick with
XP.
