Excellent find Biggy. I scored a 13. I never have been able to let things sit around.

Clicking a link that has the phrase "queendom" in it, made me a little nervous, but I scored a 27.

So whats the plan this weekend Mr. Logan..... Going out in this nice weather, or bucking the trend and actually getting your fire blocking done?
I got a 41.

What's funny is, at the end, there is "Advice & Tips." As if I am unhappy about my desire to procrastinate ...

geez, am I the only one with plenty of motivation, but lacking funding? I don't need to get loganated, I need to get donated.

Hey, that looks like a good link... I will have to check it out later.
Took the test and I'm a 36.

Would like to fix that and become less prone to procrastination.......Maybe I'll check into that in a day or two.

Spent to day myself in DC at the Cheery Blossoms around the tidal basin.....got nice red face to prove it

34 on the procrastination test (took it at work while avoiding other projects)
don't own my house yet
DO have my equipment (I'll set it up before I start the build so this is a negative attribute)
don't have the funds for a theater
dedicate about an average of 70 hours a week to work/commute
don't like working with helpers

I think I'm in a fairly weak position to win this race, but when I actually do work I'm damn fast and damn good. I WILL beat at least one person in here, don't know who, but one of you is going down.
OK, I'm in serious trouble. I got a 67. I need serious help.

I need some Loganized Motivation or should I say LOGANIZATION

I have been at this same stage for who knows how long. Today a new grandfather clock showed up at the house. The bottom needs some reinforcement so my mother in law said she wonders how lon git wil take me to do it. She can't wait for months, she wants the clock working and displayed.

I repeat, I am not a procrastinator.
Hey Loganator - was feeling in a generous mood so decide to do NOTHING this weekend. So my deck alterations will wait (weather permitting until next weekend).

So feeling lucky punk, well do ya?

Got more done on the HT this weekend. Almost got the electrical done. Are you scared yet Logan?

.....you've got to ask yourself one question: Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?

I think we have got Logan on the run. He has not posted in a couple of days. Maybe he has got us all fooled and is working diligently on his HT.

i am so sluggish it took me 12 days to send this response. this is exactly what i needed to get me going. some guy i don't know trash talking me into productivity. kind of a cross between tom peters and charles barkley. a kind of personal trainer with a nail gun.

ok this is about to become LOGANS RUN. my wife had one of those if-you-don't-make-the-construction-stop-soon-i'm-going-to-"bobbitt"-you-in-the-night moments the other day. i am commited to getting this thing done.

LOGAN ME BABY!!!

My wife worked for Bobbit's lawyer (that's true - she has the signed bloody knife T-shirt to prove it. They also represented one of Larry Kings ex-wives, but we don't remember which one....they ALL looked alike and were mistaken for each other when they came in for depositions, but that's another story).

So which is worse, being "bobbited" or "LOGANED?" Either way, the humilation is beyond human comprehension.

indygreg....

You've been LOGANED!

sknyfs -

I was going to LOGAN you last Friday night, but, well, you know.

I'll be done and you'll still be working on that by-then GREAT Grandfather clock. I don't think I can trash talk a guy with Mother-in-law to do it for me.

sknyfs - You're LOGANED anyway!

Well, it's nice to be missed. Are you guys all masochists, or what?

You bunch of whiners...."Where's my motivation today?"

Assume the position. I got your motivation right here. GET OFF YOUR BUTTS AND GET BACK TO WORK YOU GIRLY-MEN. WHAT IS YOUR MAJOR MALFUNCTION, PYLE? Now drop and give me 20...feet of romex, feet of fabric, linear feet of staggered stud walls.....sheets of drywall....

"Please, sir, MAY I HAVE ANOTHER?"

Now, repeat after me....

This is my hammer. There is no other like it. It has a name. It is....

I can't HEEAAAAAARR YOU......

Well.

Aren't you all the lucky ones? ANOTHER free weekend. In-laws in town, Thursday through this morning. Spent Friday at the Spy Museum and the Air and Space Museum.

Saturday, went to, guess where? The new USMC Museum in Quantico, VA. My brother-in-law retired and the decommissioning ceremony was there (Marines never retire, they just decommission). Saturday night was a birthday party/poker party for a friend of mine (ended up only costing me .50, which is not bad for a $20 buy-in and playing for 3 1/2 hours).

Sunday was the party for brother-in-law.

So my entire weekend was shot. However, if the weather had remained as good as it was Friday, I probably would have gone golfing anyway.

So, still at the "I need another day off to get the electric inspection."

Didn't someone mention something about a procrastination test or something? I guess I should get around to looking at that, but I gotta' do my taxes tonight.

I see your tricks from a mile away. You've developed this thread to throw people's progress off. "You guys waste time searching this thread while I keep building my theater. Logan - are you even the one replying or do you have some sort of automatic insult bot to do your dirty work?

And for the record, Mastiff mentioned Rendition, Big mentioned Let There Be Blood, and my tagline involves some Shawshank.

Animal House... "Thank you sir, may I have another"

Got about 1/2 of my framing done this weekend and increased the scope of my project to include an office and a redone laundry room. They were part of the inital plan, but got scrapped due to budget reasons. However, now that I'm in the midst of my build, I figure I might as well finish them off while I'm down there working, or it will be another 30 years until they get done. It really only includes the building of 1 more wall, as all I am donig is dividing up my 10x25ft laundry room into a 10x10 laundry room and a 15x10 office.

Anyways, I'm planning on getting the remainder of the framing done tonight and tomorrow night and then get the electrical going so I can get my drywall ordered.
