I have just ordered a Oppo 980h dvd player from Amazon and would like to know which version i will have when i receive it. is there a way to get this information? thanks for all your info on the 980H.

Before you get it? I don't know. Probably the October 9th revision; that's the most recent production version on the web page.

After you get it: eject the tray and press OSD on the remote.

Almost all players should have the 0B-0903 Firmware installed.

Make sure you are looking at the bottom left hand corner of your television, not on the front panel of the DVD player.

wmcclain: i am sorry your method worked i thought it displayed on the front panel. i did not have the projector on. thanks again for your help. the version i have is 0B-0903.
