It gets very frustrating. I think 2 of my games vs Avarice were marred by lag. The first two games against Mykeywest of my current series were great, competitive games with zero lag. I was hoping they would be lag free since we live about 5 miles from each other. I think I won both by 1 point.
Then last night the game had lag from the very beginning. I was at home so I was on the mound first. I issued him two walks to start the game, followed by a wild pitch. Without even making contact once he had 2nd and 3rd with no outs. It was a 3-run inning because of a 2-rbi dribbler through the infield that I couldn't get to cause the game was lagging while I was trying to switch to the infielder to make the play. It's infuriating to try and play out the rest of the game when you spot a guy 3 runs on some bulls***. Not to mention the pitcher's confidence is shot for the rest of the game, so trying to climb back in it is not realistic when you're giving up a run every 1-2 innings.
I'm going to play out the league and encourage everybody interested to keep doing so. As you guys can see I'm not dropping guys from the league for inactivity or forfeiting of games because I can understand why interest tends to wane. I don't blame anybody for it, it is what it is. Anyhow, let's just try and get as much fun out of the rest of the league as we can. As always if anybody has questions or concerns just PM me.
