Entrapment BD/ DVD Comparison PIX

DVD - THis was Fox's second release of the movie shortly after the original. Original was non-anamorphic with no special features. This second version had alternate ending, lots of special features and most importantly was anamoprhic.

BD - This is an MPEG-2 25GB disc. I'm not positive, but i think this was a DTheater release and uses the same transfer. Either way, not the best transfer in the world, but a clear improvement over the DVD. I got this during a BOGO and actually paid less for it than I paid for the first two DVDs. Yup, Fox pricing was expensive even back in the earlier DVD days!

You can't start an Entrapment cap thread and leave that out. I'll put on a flak jacket to be safe, so post away.

It would be really usefull for evaluating sharpness and detecting EE.

Didn't really like it but thought the BD was nice.

I picked it up when amazon had the BOGO sale and after watching it a few times I sold it.

You rock. Nice pics.
That's what picture depth is all about.

The colorspace also makes the light 'bling' a lot more.
Checkout the strings too, especially around the post.
That actually is a really useful cap. Most multipurpose screen ever.

Hi def Zeta-Jones = Yum!

I have the D-Theater tape of this title and I think it looks great. So if the BD the same, I'd have nothing bad to say about it.

Wow...Entrapment indeed. ....Please God, let me be Entrapped by Zeta Jones.
