Buy a 2nd Knight or go with One (1) Castle??

I've had my Epik Knight for several months and I've been very pleased with it. However, as you all know, "upgrade-itus" and the "what-ifs" begin to set in. I have a relatively large space (~ 3600 ft^3) and I'm beginning to desire more room "pressure".

I'm curious what your thoughts are on adding a second Knight vs. upgrading to a single Castle?

I believe I have the space for a second Knight (both on front wall, one corner loaded, the other open to adjoining space). The only downside to getting a single Castle is having to go through selling my Knight.

Thoughts?

I would bet that 2 knights will exceed a single Castle in output, except may be in the lowest region. But sound quality-wise a Castle could be better.

So is the Knight not enough for your room or do you just want more output. I ordered a Knight last week so I hope it fills up my 2500 cu ft room. I am coming off a dual bic-h100 setup. Can you comment on sound quality. I won't get mine until the end of this month.

Sure, it's enough. But like most others on this forum, I'm looking for even more. My wife thinks I'm nuts for wanting more, but I've got the itch.

Sound quality is quite good. Placement will have an impact, I've found.

Don't expect your wife to ever "get it."

Since you're comparing Epik vs. Epik, I would call them (Epik) as they should be able to give you the best answer.
BTW, I would call and not email as they don't seem good at responding to tech-related emails.

P.S. If you happen to live in CO, I might be willing to take your Knight off your hands.
