I bought a Sony Bravia last year and waited for my then 11 year old reciever to die. It did last weekend. I replaced it with a denon avr-988. The guy at frys sold me on the denon iPod doc , asd-3w, that goes with it. The attraction was he said it would stream my Windows media player from my laptop thru the doc. Can someone tell me how to configure this please???? I have a Dell laptop with a wirelss card built in and linksys wifi. I have WMP 11 on the lap top lots of free space on my drives.
I am a real novice at all this hi tech stuff although I did manage to set up the 988 and it rocks... My surround sound and Bravia love it.
