This is my first serious foray into the new world of lcd tvs. I'm looking for something that is not super expensive in the five to six hunered dollar range. That is relitivly small becasue its going in my bedroom(23-26 inch). I have a few tvs in mind. The Sony KDL-26S3000 or the Samsung LN-T2653H. I want to play my 360 and add a PS3 in the near future. Also i was thinking of putting my computer on the tv too. Are these good for gaming. If not can you suggest some other t.v's.
thanks for the help and suggestions
Pat
Ps. i want to watch some t.v on it also.
pss. sorry if i posted in the wrong place.

Either one of those should be perfect for HD gaming and movies. These are the lowest prices I found online:

I have a Westinghouse 42" that has been working great for me as a gaming set, and in my small bedroom, a screen that size is pretty pretty pretty nice- the price is hovering around $700-900 in most places. Like any set, it has minor issues here and there; you can check the monster thread in Display Devices if you are interested to see if you could live with them.

30-32" recommendation? I look at all these companies and i find most 30-32" are similarly priced to their 40-42" partners. Samsung, sharp, ect.

I don't know if I'd even bother with HD if it's a 26" - how far away will you be sitting?

I have an Olevia 232V in a spare bedroom that I play on. It can be bought at Circuit City for $600 maybe lower. 32" is not all that big for a bedroom. It should be fine.

No idea why you would get a TV when you can pick up a computer monitor for that much. Just about any 24" would look great and easily fit in your budget.

What ShagnWagn said.
About a year ago I bought a 32" Westinghouse HDTV on sale for the bedroom. While the Gaming picture and connectivity are great....It is limited to 1366 x 768p rez and TV picture is fair, HDTV programming better but lacking a little color.
Newer 24-28" monitors would have much better color, higher rez and you could always stick a digital tuner in your computer.
Check out a Hanns G monitor for an inexpensive option.

The 28" viewsonic is 1080P, is 549$ at frys, and is a good looking set. It is a pc monitor. Meaning there is no tv tuner. But I use a cable box. It only has one hdmi input (plus vga and component), so you would need a hdmi amp or a switche if you need multiple hdmi inputs. But I happy with it on the 360 and my pc.

That Viewsonic 28" is nice for that price. It's a 1900 x 1200p that will do 1080p.
The Hanns G got bad reviews blaming the poor color on the TN panel but then so did all the brands I've found so far.
Samsung used 3 different panels for the 226 model so you never know what you'll get till you take it apart.
