tube amp that's 5.1 channels?

Is there a quality tube amp (I know nothing about them, other than that they are gorgeous and sound great) that does 5.1 channel audio? Something that would handle my Paradigm Mini-Monitors and CC, and perhaps a larger set of Monitor 7's down the road in that set-up as well?

Something less than $1500 or $2000? Any sort of pre-amp for this included?

I once had an audio guy tell me a tube pre-amp and a non-tube amp could be a good combo.

Suggestions for the novice?
