I saw that Trisha show is 16:9 SD.

Wish these shows would get with the times even though I never watch daytime TV.

The HDNet era for Ring Of Honor was produced by HDNet themselves in 1080i (16:9 native). However since the Sinclair buyout of the company and sequential move over to semi-national syndication the show is sent out in 480p (16:9 but protected for 4:3 since most markets oddly broadcast it in 4:3 even on the HD station). The show itself is filmed in 720p so any footage being taped now can be used in the future when the show does eventually go to being sent out to stations in 720p (which is reportedly happening in the next year or so).

The Chris Matthews Show (Syndicated) is HD on WNBC.

My life is now complete. The new season of Cheaters is in HD. biggrin.gif LOL, but it is one of guilty pleasures. Love to see all the crazy people from the DFW metro and think it's funny that they pretend the show is not only exclusive to DFW area.

Also, after 10 years of Joey Greco, now coinciding with the HD change, they changed hosts. It's now Clark Gable, as in the grandson of THE Clark Gable. But this Clark Gable has the personality of a wet blanket. Crazy how a very cheaply made syndicated show can go HD but not something like Big Brother on CBS.

How in the world did that get priority over Face the Nation?

Beats me Matt.

It could have been easier to do since CBS Morning News airs right after it at 4:30 AM EST.

Maybe Bob Schieffer does not want Face The Nation in HD.

True, that's probably out of NYC while FtN is out of DC. Maybe, somehow, their DC bureau is still not HD. Only news I watch on CBS is 60 Minutes on occasion.
