I have a Pioneer Receiver, that im lookin to hook up a speaker selector, the only problem, the OHMS 4 vs. 8. Receiver being 8 and selector being 4. Why would they make all these newer receivers 8 ohms and the selectors 4 ohm? I have found a couple 8 Ohm models but well over $300. Any suggestions on what I should do, suck it up and buy the $300 selector or is there an alternative? Sorry if its confusing, as I am kind of a noob. I just wanna be able to hook up a couple more sets of speakers w/o hurting anything.
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
