The only problem I'm having is that I'm not picking up nearly as many subchannels as I would've liked. Not 'XRT's nor 'NUA's. And the subs were what I really wanted the most. (I am getting WDRV-HD2 though, which is what I planned on listening to most of the time anyway, so that's good). I was also extremely disappointed to find that after all these years, WBEZ isn't playing jazz anymore! (I hadn't been keeping track of such things.) Only extreme left-wing talking head "save the planet" blathering and world news now.
I'm not as especially interested in all the advertisements, jabbering, and more commercial music of the main Rock and Jazz channels. I was looking more for a "poor man's", no-fee replacement for the Sirius satellite channels that I just recently gave up on Dish Network. I really wanted those subchannels. Oh, well. My antenna and wiring do need some work, though, so maybe that'll help things some.
On the plus side, I'm picking up many more stations with the analog FM tuner, many from pretty far away - lots of PBS and college ones (which I like for the more eclectic music), and most of those stations are clear as a bell.
My only real beef is that the stations around here really need to kick up the power some. I sure hope they plan on doing that sometime soon. As far as the unit itself though, it's great.
I will say, too, that the digital channels are a little more compressed than I was expecting - not so much the mains, but especially the subchannels. It does depend on which stations you're listening to, though. My Dish Sirius channels didn't sound too bad, and though I wasn't naive enough to expect "CD quality" like they try to say, I really wasn't expecting them to sound any worse - but they definitely don't sound as good.
