Here’s a thread that depict space shuttles as well as some fictitious newer designs.

In the opening of Armageddon (1997) shows the space shuttle Atlantis getting blow to smithereens!

In The Time Machine (2002) we see the time travelling Alexander leaping though time to the late 21st century where futuristic space shuttle prepares to land on the moon.

In the opening of The Invasion (2007) a fictitious shuttled called “Patriot” brakes up over Texas, which is also carrying a virus of alien origin.

In The Core (2003) space shuttle Endeavour is sent off course on head on collision with Los Angeles, with a daring landing that ends in the reservoir.

In Space Cowboys (2000) retired air force pilots from an old project called “Daedalus” are sent up to repair a crippled Russian satellite, “space will never be the same again”.

In Space Camp (1986) a team of children are accidentally launched into space on Atlantis, when the, wishes of young boy, is overheard by NASA robot called Jinx, decides top grant him the wish.

In Moonraker (1979) a mad man called Drax, who obviously wants to take over the world by unleashing a deadly virus into the earth’s atmosphere, while he and his merry super humans fly around on an orbiting space station.

In Lifeforce (1985) a fictitious space shuttle called the Churchill is on route to explore Halley’s comet, where the astronauts discover deep with in the comets tail a mysterious object of alien origin.
