My mother & father-in-law have a Yamaha RX-V861, while watching DVDs the audio on ALL speakers cuts out for about 1 second every 1 minute 3 seconds. I don't have too much experience with high end audio systems & I did not hook up this system.
If this sounds like something anyone has heard about please let me know.
As I said above, this problem only appears during DVD playback (we've tried multiple DVDs so it's not the discs). Sound plays normally when watching TV too.
I suppose I'll be tearing down this system & hooking it back up tomorrow...I can't stand it when electronics don't work the way they're supposed to.
