BZZ Agent offers free Harmony One to members

Hey did anyone else get in on this? I own a mx-700 but I am willing to change over for this beauty. Especially for free. There is a website bzzagent.com that offers product testing for free and you get selected by your preferences for products. My wife and I both got offered this campaign and are anxiously awaiting our free remotes. The campaign filled up in less than 4 hours and is now closed. I will report more soon.

i got an email yesterday for the campaign, immediately went to bzz and signed up. i can't wait to test out the remote and bzz to my tech friends

I got invited, too. Perfect timing, as I was about to buy a high-end universal anyway. BzzAgent is a great program, for sure.

I was wondering what tier you guys are. I just joined when I read about it here, and I don't seem to be getting any offers to join campaigns (I don't even see an invitations section). I was even going to try to join a spectator campaign, but I can't find any of those either.

I've taken all of the surveys, and read through all of the training already. I'm trying to figure out the Frogpond, but I can't get stuff there to work right either. I followed a link to the Ditto site and set up an account cause it looks like a neat site. But I can't seem to be able to log in or anything.

Sorry to get so far off topic, but you guys seem to know what is going on there, and until you get your remotes you probably won't have much to say in here

Tier 1 here, too.

Got my remote in the mail today. Set it up in less than hour, including minor tweaks. I got channel graphics from http://www.iconharmony.com/icons/ for the favorites.

Definitely looking forward to using this thing...

If you go here and put "BZZ 20422" in the reference field and select "United States" under country and enter your zip, you can see if (possibly) your remote is on it's way.

I checked and mine is on its way, it is scheduled for delivery tomorrow!!

steven

*the ups info came from a poster on slickdeals forums

I signed up, but was wondering how you guys got access to this Campaign? Did you take a lot of surveys/polls/frogponds? Or did the invite just show up? Thanks!
i've been a bzzagent since 2005. i always complete all surveys and polls, as i believe that is what they use to see if you fit into a campaign, that along with your profile info, and do the frogpond thing every once in awhile. this will be my 8th campaign. if you weren't a bzzagent when the campaign started, you might not get into it. i received the harmony one invite via email, but you can log in and check if it is there as well...

You'll love it Steven....it's very easy to use.
I did call the 800# on the bzz page last night and spoke with a Harmony support guy. I just wanted to ask him a question, and he answered it promptly, and was even going to change some names for me, but I had already done it.

So how is it?
I get mine tomorrow, can't wait!
the package was waiting for me when i got home, but today was grocery shopping day, so i was only able to unpack and start charging it. i just got back from the store and it is still charging, it is a nice remote, good weight, the touchscreen is pretty large, i can't wait to set it up
post #24 of 52
I set mine up but I get my new receiver on monday, already programmed it for it, so I can't really try out without that.

So if I sign up to become an agent, I can get a harmony one, for free, to test out? Do you get to keep all the stuff you test? I don't quite follow what the site does/offers.

It depends on if they offer you the campaign. Yes you get to keep anything they offer. I have like 6 15% off rebates for any harmony remote that they sent with the remote.

Go ahead and join. Fill out surveys and get spam.
In the end you will get nothing.

No, if you join, you won't get a Harmony One to try out.
This campaign is underway already. You never know what offers and campaigns they will offer.

As far as the troll's post above, ignore it. You don't get spam mail from them. Some of the campaigns are awesome, and some turn out to be duds.

The idea of being a Bzzagent, is to try a product and spreading the word by mouth. They want to hear what others think of the product from that particular campaign. You fill out what they call "bzz reports" whenever you bzz to someone about the product you're trying.
They like when you submit lots of bzz. They also like to hear the truth about whatever it is you're trying out. Even if the product stinks...they want to hear about it and why.

On their web page (if you join) there may be some surveys to fill out on the bottom of the page. If you fill out the surveys, there's a better chance to be asked to try something because they know what your interests are. You'll never know what you'll be asked to try out until you get the email for the invite or check the log-in page to see if anything is available.

I've been doing it for a few years now, and I have gotten some pretty awesome things to try out. Sometimes you won't get invited to a campaign for months, and other times you could get 5-10 going at one time.
You don't have to sign up for a campaign you've been invited to if you don't want to. You always have a choice to say no thanks.
