What would you do? (pic)

I am purchasing a new home. The picture below is the family room where I want to set-up my HT. I have a new Sharp 65" 94U LCD and Definitive Technology Mythos ST speakers.

I am considering either widening the right console by about 14" and placing the TV there. This would cost some dough for construction and would place the TV off center and very right to the sitting area.

The other option would be to just put it over the fireplace and call it good.

Thoughts and ideas appreciated.

I personally prefer keeping it centered, I wish I wasn't that way because my own room has a lot of potential, but I just cannot do anything that doesn't feel "balanced". Great room by the way!!

If you put it over the mantle don't invite me over for a game or a movie. I hate having to look up that high. Must be my big head.

By the looks of your Basement Theater, let's watch the game at your place!

I guess I have a trade off question of wether or not I want to look up or right.

If I look right I am worried about having a prayer of being able to balance the system. I have a new Denon 4308CI which seems to do a good with its auto set-up program.

If I look up I got the crick in the neck issue along with probable installation challanges.

Arrrrgg!

Definitely widen the right console.

My living room TV is in almost the exact same spot and we don't have any problems whatsoever.
