Showstopper & new converter boxes

This might be a dumb question, but can anyone explain to me what will happen to my showstopper PV-HS2000's in Jan 09 when they go fully digital. Will I need a converter box? And will I need a box for each showstopper? (I have 3) I get my signal from Time Warner cable and would like to know what I will have to do before it's to late.

Thanks for any help

It's in Feb 09. The converter boxes that are available via a government coupon are for over the air signal reception ONLY. They don't work with cable. Your cable company is supposed to provide analog signals until 2012 for the over the air channels. The non-over the air channels (TBS, ESPN, etc.) can be moved to digital any time that they want. To get those you would need a cable company set top box (STB) that uses IR codes that the Showstopper IR blaster knows how to send.

So basically I don't need to worry about anything for at least 4 years?

The cable will work the same way after next feburary. The only way you would have a problem is if you hooked your showstopper up to a pair of rabbet ears!
