I haven't had time to test out the actual effects, but I played around with my HDMI2 "PC" label a little tonight, and noticed something interesting - when the TV is receiving a 1080p60 signal (e.g. PS3 main menu), about half of the video settings will be disabled.
If the TV receives a 720p signal (e.g. inside PS3 game Call of Duty), all of the settings will be enabled.
To me, this means that there probably is something special about labeling HDMI2 as "PC". I would also assume that if it affects the processing lag in some way, it would only have an effect for 1080p60 signals.
I know that this doesn't confirm much for you, but I wanted to put it out there in case someone else is experimenting.
