Wii deals thread - Page 13

I always ignore that amazon visa offer, but randomly decided to do it so I bought wii sports resort for $2 and figure I'll just pay the $2 and then likely not use the card again. I also got a second free month of amazon prime so I get 2 day shipping of it and still pay just that $2. Then I bought Neverending Story on blu ray and will get it with free shipping on release date of next tuesday so a pretty good time to be utilizing that free 2 day shipping. I immediately went to my account to turn off auto renewal for prime and there is no annual fee for the credit card so all pretty good deals in case people haven't utilized those already.

Start spamming your local fye's, kiddies. 25% off the 9 new games in stock, and for some locations, more... My local shop is GOoB, so there's 75% off some accessories and assorted crap. But the real reason for my post: Cursed Mountain is now$8.99, + 25% off = best deal sine Trilogy@$20.

Please buy this game. I'll personally* give you a kitten.

*kitten will be shipped at recipient's expense in most states. Cost of burial not included.

Not so much a specific Wii deal, but now thru March 14, GameStop is offering an additional 50% trade credit on all games.

Was mulling trading the Band Hero disc (got all the BH songs I want imported into GH5) for something - perhaps now is the time.....

IF you have any games you wish to part with, you can possibly get a super deal on the fight stick (or the MH3 preorder, promo runs thru 3/14/10. And if you have one of their Edge cards, make that an extra 60% credit on trades.

Walked out w/ the fight stick (which is pretty sweet) for $25 + tax.

Newegg has lowered their price on Madworld to $9.99 shipped:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16878142038

You can also get 2% Cashback from Bing which would lower the cost to $9.79.

Despite the fact that I've got several unfinished games lying around, I'm finding it harder to justify not buying this now. 81/100 on Metacritic.

UPDATE: Currently sold out at Newegg. Amazon still has it for the same price, but you'll have to buy something else to get over $25 to qualify for Super Saver Shipping. Plus, Amazon stock "ships in 1 to 4 weeks" so you may not have the patience for that.

Just bought one!
Didn't someone on here say recently they couldn't find wii remotes without the motion plus? Notice below that bundle linked to in the post above wal-mart does sell wii remotes without the motion plus for under $40.

I want to thank you for the link I just got shipping confirmation of my order, after reading of the ''sell out'' I was thinking that maybe my order would be rejected/refunded.

A quick search turned up several "deals", if anyone is interested in the following:

Onechanbara Bikini Zombie Slayers @ $9.28 + S/H:
http://www.amazon.com/Onechanbara-Bi...8&s=videogames

Tenchu Shadow Assassins @ $12.79 + Free Shipping:
http://www.amazon.com/Tenchu-Shadow-...tag=slickdeals

Lego Batman @ $11.95 + 3.99 S/H
http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg...SIVYV&v=glance

Of the 3, I've only ever played Tenchu and it's a C- for me (too much waggle), but Batman looks great... and at that price I could find a couple things to like about Onechanbara.

After recieving an email from Gamestop this morning, I hit their page to find out they're having some kind of coupon code death match over the next couple of days... lots of codes, so here goes:

15% off all in-stock Wii and DS titles- only good until 11 am CST 3/18
Use Code: SHAMROCK

Buy one get one free on all used games
Use Code: UBOGO

Email Exclusive 72-Hour Offer - receive 10% off any in-stock item
Use Code: SECRETS

And the old standby for free shipping with any $25 or more purchase:
Use Code: SAVER

Can't stack any of these (except for free shipping), all carry the same disclaimer:

Online only. Not valid on consoles. May not be combined with other offers.

I tried to pre-order Zelda with 10% or 15% off, sadly it's not technically "in stock"... so no dice. But some reasonable coupons if anyone's looking. Happy hunting, amigos.

You will pay tax, but you can ship to a nearby store for free pickup. Also, Bing Cashback can be had if you do a search for "Walmart Sheets" to get another 10% off. *

* Bing cashback is now a YMMV situation. If you're lucky, you may be able to find it.

Compare this to ~$93 for the same items at Amazon right now.

UPDATE: If you prefer Nerf N-Strike Elite, the same bundle deal is $49 + tax.

Thanks for the tips! Say if I purchase a used game at $19.99 and add another as a freebie. Can I still get free shipping with the code? Probably not but worth a shot asking.

In theory you can use SAVER with any other coupon, so long as the order total is over $25, but it looks like there's a free econo shipping option regardless of price now. Which would be sweet except...

I tried to use the UBOGO code yesterday and again this morning- no dice. A quick search turns up quite a few angry people, seems that GS has made the coupon quite limited. Tons of games are no longer instock online, and no matter what games I've tried I get an error at checkout:

Here's the funny part: yesterday the same error popped up but ended with "Expires 3/22/10 11:59PM". Methinks GS just underestimated the response, and have severely crippled the deal.

So now all the coupons except SAVER are dead. C'est la vie. You can probably still use CAG16 for 16% off (haven't tried it), or you might try giving customer service a call @ 1-800-883-8895 to bitchalittle if you have the energy... (not me!).

Order one for $50 and get a $20 e-gift card. Use the e-gift card to order the other and get another $20 GC.

SMG2:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Super-Mari...d-Wii/14044111

Madden 11:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Madden-11-...d-Wii/13437627

Note: If you do Bing cashback, search for "walmart bedding" and get another 5% off. This is confirmed to be working right now -- people are getting cashback emails for $2.50.

Approximately $30 for these games is a slightly better deal than the Toys R Us Buy 2, Get 1 free promos. Amazon may try to match these deal in the coming weeks.

Edit: Amazon has now matched the deal for SMG2 here:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...pf_rd_i=507846

The main difference is (depending on your state), you don't pay tax at Amazon.

A pro for Walmart is that they give you your $20 gift card immediately (Amazon's credit comes when the game SHIPS).
A pro for Amazon is that shipping is much faster.

I've been needing an extra remote and this deal got too hot to pass up:

http://www.walmart.com/ip/Wii-bundle/14047766

2 weeks ago this was at $49...even then, it was a good deal. Now it's HOT.

My total was $45 with tax and shipping to my doorstep.
That bundle I bought 2 posts up for $45 turned into a Remote w/ Motion Plus for < $24. The Nerf game is a seperate line item on the packing slip (each listed at $20). This allows you to return the game in store for money back and keep the remote.

Blue is currently sold out, but Pink and Black are still available.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002BRZ9AG/

Hubbagames currently has it for $33.24 shipped. If you prefer to buy direct from Amazon, it's $34.99.

Edit: This is a Gold Box discount for Friday, April 16th. Expect the price to go back up tomorrow.
Sorry, but I thought someone would have this up by now. Today is Wii Deals Gold Box Day on Amazon.
Where do you even go to find the deals on those days? Sometimes I go and don't notice them.
dell.com had $189.99 + free shipping - Summer 2010 Wiimotion plus, Wii Sports Resort bundle. I promptly jumped on it.

http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/p...9&sku=A3752152

Not sure if they'd still honor it but it seems like a good deal to me.
i have a link for great deals on games but i cant post it bc i dont want to be reported for spam...
Nintendo is very smart. Not only are they selling thwe wii and both wii sports games for a low retail price now, but they're advertising it CONSTANTLY. Obviously that's their plan to try to prevent the other two systems' rise with motion controls. They'll increase their install base even more before some of the people get tempted by the competitors later in the year.
Walmart & Amazon both have Metroid: Other M for $49.99 and a $20 gift card... not too shabby! (C'mon Gamestop, match this so I don't have to move my preorder to Amazon!)

http://www.amazon.com/Metroid-Other-...lickdeals&ses=

http://www.walmart.com/ip/14291231?d...er=lw9MynSeamY

And not a 'deal' per se, but Jwebb, don't you have one of these cooling fans (or something similar)? Never used meritline, but @ $3.50 it's quite tempting:

http://www.meritline.com/wii-mini-co...x?source=s2010
post #389 of 482
I used meritline before for blank dvds. I forget if I used them the last time I bought them, but whenever I used them they seemed fine to me.
