I like the review pattern in this site for assessing PQ. Just wanted to know your opinions ? It's almost similar to yours but terms used are quite layman in nature.

I received this film a few days ago....Not watched it yet.

Do i miss something essential by just having the theatrical cut - Is the longer cut more absorbing and a better film for being longer ?


Just read what i'm missing by not having the extended cut .............Nothing.

LFE on this movie should have been 3 paws at best. There was really only 2 stand out bass scenes and you mentioned them in the review. Ice Damn breaking and Table splitting. Other than that nothing really stood out and I have a PB-13 like you.

I think you should maybe scale back the ratings a bit....4 paws for very bass happy movies. Where the LFE is being use and it will really stand out.

5 paws only for movies like Cloverfield or WOTW....

I mean we are getting a little 99 and 100 happy lately

I did some searching and couldn't find this anywhere else.

There is an Easter egg on disc 1 of the Blu-ray:

Select "Scene Selection", arrow down to scene 6 "Hail the Queen!", arrow right to highlight symbol in red and select enter.

An 82 second video (SD) will play featuring Skandar Keynes (Edmund) on filming the scene with the White Witch and eating Turkish Delight.

Apparently, this is the same Easter egg on disc 2 of the DVD.
