I am looking for a tool that can tell me what filters are loaded when playing back a video that uses directshow. It should be able to identify the overlay (EVR, VRM9, etc..) and show all the filters that are being used for playback. I would be nice if it worked in full screen and on Media center too.
A tool like this would be very helpful for debugging playback problems. There are so many times where a family member or friend is having playback issues and its because their merits are screwed up. Sometimes Nero or Cyberlink have over taken a codec or filter and all I can do is makes changes to the merit and check if it's fixed.
